This is my first “fancy buy” for myself. I usually treat my husband or my kids. I love it. It is not too small not too big, not too heavy. The only thing actually is that it gets hot really fast so when you are on your bed sitting with it on your legs, it is better to be under the blanket. I could use something faster but I am never happy with that, it actually is pretty fast. There is a ton of things we can do with it, I have only used a very tiny litte piece of it, Words for some work, games and internet, but I am amazed with every new thing that I find on it. What I have seen of Windows 7 was really cool too. I really like the fact that I can go literally anywhere in the house with it. My daughter loves it too. It keeps peace in the house. Daddy can have his family pc and my daughter and I share the little one. I cannot recommend for anything technical because I am clueless with that

Have had the HP Mini for about a month and it’s meeting all my expectations.
It would be nice to have this or that, but it’s more than functional for internet access.
Did our first Skype video calls and were pleased with video and audio.
All in all, a great second computer.

Considered either a new Smartphone-of-the-week, or the HP mini. After figuring out what I really needed, and what the cost of ownership truly is…I opted for the HP, and am quite pleased with the decision. Real keyboard, Real webpages, Bright & clear display, and NO monthly service plan. The HP Mini wins hands down.
I added a 2GB Crucial RAM card to the mini, and a little Bluetooth receiver from IOGear (about the size of a kidney bean) and have great b/g/n + BT capability for cheap.
The advertised 9.75hrs battery life might be a bit optimistic, but I’ll withhold judgement until the battery cycles a few times. I might see an improvement in capacity. As it is…I can get 6-7hrs of solid use, and that’s plenty.
For fast web-surfing, email, Skype, etc…the little HP is fantastic, and far nicer to use than my old fruit-phone ever was. Super price, and quick service from Amazon. It’s easy to recommend the HP-Mini!
