I purchased this item for $254.00 from Amazon.com LLC, and one week later Amazon.com LLC had it listed for $222.00. They refused to give a credit. They did say that I could return the item, and then turn around a re-buy it for the new price. It seemed very inefficient for me to send them back the drill, and for them to resend me the same drill. It would keep everyone’s costs down, if Amazon simply issued a credit in these scenarios.

Bought this as a b/day present for DH. It was less expensive than at Cosco. Appears to work well.

I HAVE RECENTLY BOUGHT THIS KIT AND LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT THE BATTERIES THAT IT COMES WITH DO NOT OPERATE ANY OTHER OF THE M-18 CORDLESS TOOLS THEY ARE COMPACT AND DO NOT HOLD A CHARGE VERY LONG.THIS IS WHY THEY SELL IT SO CHEAP.THIS KIT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU DO NOT USE THEM FOR HEAVY CONSTRUCTION.I NEEDED A NEW SAWZALL HAD $[...] SPEND.I HAD FOUND THIS KIT FOR $[...] TOUGHT IT WAS A GREAT PRICE.SO BEING A FRUGAL SHOPPER I HAD DONE SOME MORE RESEARCH AND FOUND THE M-18 SAWZALL W/NO BATTERIES BRAND NEW FOR $[...] ON E-BAY(I HAVE ONLY HAD MILWAUKEE PRODUCTS MY WHOLE 10 YEARS OF CONSTUCTION AND LOVE THEM)SO I FIGURED BUY THE KIT FOR $[...] PLUS $[...] SHIPPING AND THE SAWZALL ON E-BAY FOR $[...] W/FREE SHIPPING FOR A TOTAL OF $[...].NOW I HAVE A BACKUP AND A NEW SAWZALL FOR A LITTLE MORE THAN SAWZALL I WAS LOOKING AT.COME TO FIND OUT THE BATTERIES THAT CAME WITH THE KIT DO NOT WORK ON THE SAWZALL YOU NEED THE XTRA CAHRGE BATTERIES THAT COST ANY WERE FROM $[...] TO OVER A HUNDRED DOLLARS A PEICE. IT DOES NOT STATE ANY WERE THAT THOSE BATTERIES WOULD NOT FIT ANY OTHER M-18 PRODUCTS I WAS UPSET CALLED MILWAUKEE AND THEY DID NOTHING FOR ME BUT TELL ME THAT I NEEDE THOSE XTRA CHARGE BATTERIES.SO INSTEAD OF SPENDING $[...] AFTER PURCHASING 2 XTRA CAHRGE BATTERIES FOR $[...] I ENDED UP SPENDING $[...] SO I GOT BURNT BE AWARE SO THIS DONT HAPPEN TO YOU.ALL IN ALL THE DRILLS WORK GREAT AND THE XTRA CHARGE BATTERIES DO WORK IN THE DRILLS BUT I AM STILL UNHAPPY.

I got these set and the Ridgid from Home Depot and at the end the winner is ” Milwaukee “, so I kept the Milwaukee and returns all the Ridgid blow up spec cheap stuff. < < well don't get excited now >>
These tools performance is ok not that great…if anyone wanted to see a video hand down on this drill/impact vs Dewalt it on Youtube, as it will answer lots of questions. <> so Milwaukee battery out of the box already having issue ??? <>. The reason I didn’t returns the tools because I got it for a super deal as they are currently on clearance at Home Depot, Amazon wouldn’t match it and so a Battery I just bought from them also going clearing at Home Depot.
-FYI-
I’m not a Pro or loyal to any brand, just looking for good deals and good tools. Back then when you paid this much money for tools they usually made in Japan, USA or German which last for a long time not for a few weeks as I frequently see in the review.
The last time I check Makita is the only tools still made in Japan…but lately Made in China Junk are poping up on their label with same or higher price tag…quality are degrading as it show on customer review like Milwuakee here.
Bottom line This tools kit drill/impact @ $199 Made in China not worth the money. < < DO NOT BUY >> unless much less, this goes for the Ridgid and other brand as well, lots of company are blowing up the price then bring it down to make it look like you got a good deals but you’re not. Also peoples are fall for the lifetime warranty must READ their fine print “time to time they consider the tools will wear/tear as it does not cover as defective…it clearly state that they only cover if items are defective” so it actually 3yrs as they printed on the box, Milwaukee will give 5yrs.
If you don’t beleive the cost would be $20 to make in China??? well just think of all the Chinese scooter were sold on Ebay for $500+free shipping so how much seller are getting them in for? remember all the freight shipping cost from china factory to serveral whare house then to buyer home and selling price are only $500+free ship. <> So all these company are smiling all the way to the bank when someone are clicking at either full blow up price or even sale price at $199 like this.
Oh…I forgot 1 more thing…make sure washing your hands after using these tools, not because of grease or dirt but since it Made in China it probably have high percentage of poison leads. I hope more peoples should speak up about the quality of these tools and where it Made!!! to reflect the price it should be worth buying. I know Milwaukee has been around for sometimes but don’t forget these tools quality are not the same as back then.

i found these tools to be sufficient for the purpose, but don’t have near the abilities of the makita line of 18 volt tools. i am a little disappointed in the power; especially the impact.
